Breakfast Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. porridge oats
  • 90ml water
  • 4 scoops specialist formula (Althéra/Alfamino)

Method

  1. In a saucepan or microwave add the porridge and water and bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, then take off the heat and mix in the specialist formula.

Variations

  • Add puréed fruit to flavour
  • Grate veggies such as carrot or courgette to porridge with some
    spices like cinnamon
  • Add a dollop of milk free yoghurt alternative if you need to cool your porridge down
  • Stirring in smooth nut butters or well ground nuts can be a great way of maintaining intake of nuts once introduced to your baby (see page ... about introducing nuts) breakfast
