This is how our plant based plastic is produced

Curious to learn more about how our plant based plastics are typically made?

plant
A first press is made on the sugar cane in order to get the sweet juice used for sugar.
can
A second press creates a juice not usually used as foodstuff. This is becomes the resin that makes our plant based plastic.
spoon
Little is wasted. The process creates a nutrient rich liquid which is used for fertilizer, whilst some of the remaining sugar cane is even converted into energy like bioethanol (a type of fuel).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Mothers should be encouraged to continue breastfeeding even when their infants have CMA. This usually requires qualified dietary counselling to completely exclude all sources of cows’ milk protein from the mothers’ diet. If a decision to use a special formula intended for infants is taken, it is important to give instructions on correct preparation methods, emphasising that unboiled water, unsterilised bottles or incorrect dilution can all lead to illness. Formula for special medical purposes intended for infants must be used under medical supervision
