Children’s Chinese chicken

Recipe of Chinese chicken for Childrens.

Ingredients

  • 100g diced chicken
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 diced carrot
  • 1/2 finely chopped small onion
  • 1/2 diced courgette
  • 1/2 green or red pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp cornflour 
  • 1/2 small can pineapple chunks in natural juice 
  • 90 ml water
  • 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice powder (optional)
  • 3 scoops of hypoallergenic formula powder

Method

  1. Once you’ve heated the oil, fry the diced onion until soft and then stir in the diced chicken pieces
  2. Once the chicken is brown, stir in the vegetables and cook for another 3 minutes
  3. In a separate bowl, slowly stir in the water to the cornflour 
  4. Add this paste to the pan along with the drained pineapple chunks and – if you’re using it – the Chinese spice
  5. Let the dish simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes, stirring regularly, until everything is well cooked
  6. Set aside. Once cool enough to serve, mix in the hypoallergenic formula powder
